Solar Eclipse

Poem #1

Never have I fell in love
As much as this
Just when I saw you
My heart beat runs, following you

You said I am your moon
That gives your dark life some moonlight
But no you’re wrong
I am no moon but sunshine

What you thought was the opposite
You’re my moon and I’m your sun
Glowing amidst the darkness
Together with the stars spreading brightness

Why can’t you seem to notice
This light of me that’s shining
Is it because of the stars flocking?
Guiding you in the night abiding?

Sun is also a star
The biggest of them all
But I guess no matter how I tried and give my all
You won’t get to pick me after I fall

Can’t you see how much people
Eagerly waiting for me to shine
In the morning dawn
Or even the nightfall

But their happiness
Became my sadness
For my fears are happening;
The hope I build is now slowly ending

Your darkness is filled with stars to give light
Yet my morning shines but became a gloomy fright
Sun and moon can’t be together
Just like how we’re star-crossed lovers

We’re just two people waiting
Even if it takes a lot of time
For a moment to collide
In just a short amount of time

A random poem I created.

Some things are not meant for you. But still, never falter. The sun still rise even after its downfall.
Thank you for visiting my blog. ‘Till next time!
