Embracing the Horizon
A BEGINING OF SOMETHING NEW
Nothing is constant. Even the weather changes day by day and even the time moves in its own own. But if there is something that never falters in me, I think it would my courage; the courage to face every possibilities in this horizon.
As a new year start, I begun to look back at the past years particularly the year 2020. 2020 has been a year of pain for us. We faced our own struggles and challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, online classes, social issues, and more. It has been a time of test, a time of challenge. But despite of that, look at yourself and applause. I want to congratulate you for coming this far and for having the courage and surpass these all. I am proud of you for conquering every obstacles until the very end. Though things weren’t normal yet but I know it will be better soon for we’ve learned.
2020 has become a year of lesson for each of us. It is not a year where we needed to accomplish things and see the things that we did, but a year of embracing those uncertainties. It is a year where we learned from the unexpected journey ahead of us. Even if we didn’t see the future that lies in year 2020, we still managed to keep still and hang in there. In just a moment, everything stopped and everything changes. Even if a lot of possibilites ended, new and unexpected ones also came. With that, 2020 helped me to discover new things and to have a positive outlook in life. 2020 showed me that even in times of uncertainties, there are still some things that we should be thankful for may it be big or small. And I saw that, the things that matter. That is why as a new year starts, may you embrace a new horizon. The skies may once turned black but now it will be painted in colors. It shall soon be white, blue, orange, and even purple. These colors will signifies a new hope for you.
That is why this year, my blog’s theme will be “Embracing the New Horizon.” It’s been months when I started my blog and reclaim my own skies but now, let us fly within the sky and see a new horizon. It may not always be rainbows and sunshine but I know in the end, you’ll see the beauty of the horizon even in its night skies.
A new chapter will now be opened and you will now begun to write your next story. But in this chapter, I hope you take it as a challenge to embrace the uncertainties and all of your darkness. The past may seem like a night without the moon. But don’t worry. After every night comes a new day; a new sun to light your day. Time will make it all better for time shall heal all wounds.
May this year be a year of growth and courage for you. The scars left by the pain in you will be your armor to learn, stand, and grow. Continue living and creating a meaningful life ahead of you. Don’t be afraid take risks. Let yourself try, fall, and succeed. The future may be uncertain but with God you will not be. So believe. He will be with you on this new chapter and the next and the next and until the last page.
Better days are coming. I hope this will be a beginning of something new for you. And I’m wishing for a meaningful year ahead of you. May you strive not to be better but the best version of yourself this year.
